exploding trees

my girlfriend sent me a video about exploding trees from the cold and i was shocked because what do you mean trees are exploding??? how could she send me that video after living in maine for three years as if we havent had a colder winter before? and then i thought, how come i never heard of this before this year? shouldnt it be close to common knowledge if trees exploded? so i looked it up and it, obviously, is not true. trees do not explode in the cold. they snap, crackle, and pop like cereal but they dont fuckin blow loads like its after hours on a saturday night. someone on the internet lied, and people believed it- and in two weeks it will pass from the zoomer zeitgeist and be buried like everything else in this ozymandius' culture.
